The Pre-Pregnancy Agreement Clause

While everyone is excited to be visiting their families for Thanksgiving this week and stuffing their faces with turkey, the one thing that I know my husband and my best friend, Lauren, are looking forward to is the Redskins playing the Cowboys. As is tradition, the Cowboys will play on Thanksgiving and the Redskins are lucky enough to be joining them.

Team allegiances are very important to a lot of households. Ours and Lauren's are no exception. Unfortunately for Jerry, I pull for the Giants which are in the same division as his beloved Redskins. So who will our kids pull for? I'm going to let them decide. I feel like Jerry's voice is stronger than mine when it comes to sports, so it's not a battle that I think I can win.

However, in Lauren's house she told me that she has a pre-pregnancy agreement clause with her husband, Blake. She explained.

“Blake has no input. It is ECU and Skins all the way. ”

— Lauren

I was intrigued. No prenup about finances or real estate, but definitely on who your kid is going to pull for? That. Is. Amazing!

She said she was, "Just keeping it real."

So is your household divided? Who are your kids required to pull for? Do you let them decide or do you threaten to disown them if they pull for another team? Some households are like that about their sports teams, just saying!
