Dot... Dot... Dot...

Gardner's Me Ma loves to use talk to text. Her signature phrase is "dot, dot, dot" to signify an ellipses "...". It's her thinking word and she uses it A LOT! Her texts will go something like this:

“How are you today question mark dot dot dot I hope you’re having a wonderful day dot dot dot I’ll talk to you soon dot dot dot love you exclamation point dot dot dot Mama.”

— Becky Rivenbark

On occasion, she will do this when we're in the middle of a conversation. She just finds it faster than typing everything out. She's a talker and she's old school, She did not grow up with these phones obviously so she isn't a speed demon texter like so many in my generation.

Clearly, she does this enough while watching our kids to warrant Gardner picking up on this. And thus I give you the video or how quickly kids learn language and begin imitating everything they hear. Anyone that is around Gardner long enough you should watch out, he will be imitating you next!
