I came home a few weeks ago and did what I always do when I come home. I begged Gardner to come over and give me a hug and a kiss. Sometimes he runs over and embraces me and sometimes he shakes his head "no". That's life with an 18-month-old for you. Then I give Jerry a hug and a kiss and ask how his day was. 

On this particular day, Gardner came over and wanted to give us both kisses. Sometimes that boy just melts my heart. He came over, leaned in, and Jerry and I both gave Gardner a ton of kisses. Then Gardner backed up and pushed our faces together, so that Jerry and I could give one another more kisses. It was a small, but sweet gesture that we had not seen from Gardner before. 

This became a game for about 5 minutes. We kissed Gardner, then he pushed our faces together and we kissed each other. It truly warmed my heart. Sometimes there is just so much love it pours out of you. What a treasured moment!
