Monkey Man Turns One!
It was a success! We hosted Gardner's birthday party last Saturday and had such a fantastic turn out of family and friends. Everyone around me was incredibly helpful, from Jerry vacuuming and power washing, to my mom making her delicious spinach salad, to my mother-in-law running to the store for some last minute food. Today marks a special day for me. Just one year ago I gave birth to Gardner Merritt. This year has been the fastest year of my life and I can't wait to celebrate his birthday with him later today. One Whale of a Party!
I am back from New Jersey where Gardner and I spent the weekend visiting family. The main reason we went to visit is to celebrate Fynn's birthday (Gardner's second cousin). Fynn turned one yesterday and on Saturday the family got together to celebrate. My cousin, Heather, did a really wonderful job with the ocean themed party. It reminded me of why I love Pinterest so much when it comes to creative party themes!
