So I have to say that I was late in getting my Christmas card together this year. By the time I realized that I needed to send them out I was heading on vacation the following week! It's very unlike me to wait so long to put this together, so the rush was on just before Christmas to get it done.
I frantically messaged Jerry a week before I was getting on a plane to New Jersey and said, "Christmas card photo tonight!" We didn't use a professional as we have in the past. Our iPhone was the source of the photo, but I think we captured what we needed to.
It felt haphazardly thrown together, but I managed to pick out the perfect Shutterfly layout and rush the cards to me. Whew! I had to pay $30 extra to get them to me before I left, but it was worth it.
I will say that I was very prepared with all my Christmas gifts, ordering them all VERY early right around Thanksgiving. I thought I was ahead of the game. I guess life just gets in the way sometimes, but in the end our Christmas card was lovely and hopefully we spread some cheer to our friends and family who live far away!
Happy Holidays from The Rivenbark Family! We hope you have a happy and healthy New Year!!
