The Corpse Halloween Game for Your Upcoming Party!

I recalled about a game I played as a kid that was very festive, funny, and slightly creepy for the Halloween season. So I went searching for it and eureka! it does exist. I think it is perfect for both kids and adults during the Halloween season. Though I think you need to be mindful of what age your kids are for this as very young kids might get a little freaked out (as I'm sure the title of my post suggests). It goes like this.

You can either post the following poem and put the items in boxes with a hole in it for someone to put their hands in, or you have everyone blind-folded and sit in a circle and tell the spooky tale. Be sure to provide hand washing options at the end.

Once upon a Halloween night
Living in this spooky town
Was a man who died of fright
Bearing the name of Brown.

Many and many a year has passed
Since they buried Brown away,
But his withering corpse we've here amassed
Dug up from his tomb today!

Here is his brain which feels no pain (A wet squishy tomato)
Here are his eyes frozen in surprise (Two frozen peeled grapes)
Here is his heart, nevermore to start (A large lump of uncooked liver)
Here is his hair, once so fair (Corn silk, wet fur, or yarn)
A few drops of blood, the rest turned to mud! (Ketchup thinned out with water)
One hand all alone, rotting flesh and bone (A damp plastic glove filled with mud or ice)
Now touch his ear, which does not hear (A dried apricot)
And here is his nose, cold in his repose (A soft piece of chicken bone)
All that's left of his skin are these worms within (Wet, cooked spaghetti)

Poor Brown is dead and withered away
But can you guess what you really felt today?
Whoever guesses the most right
Wins a prize at the end of the night.

Do you have any fun Halloween games you are going to prepare for your party? Feel free to leave them in the comments.
