Planners Beware: Don't Get Scammed
Philadelphia's Pope Woes
For anyone that doesn't know, Pope Francis is planning to visit Philadelphia at the end of September. The city is busy preparing for his arrival and stumbling at every turn. The US Women's National Team were honored with a ticker-tape parade in New York City on Friday. Their triumphant win during the Women's World Cup Final against Japan earned them the opportunity to make history yet again. We had sent almost the entire staff, group leaders, and students to Washington DC for the weekend. I worked incredibly hard to get the staff and the buses ready to depart. At 2:30 p.m. on Saturday I was free!... At least until about 9 o'clock the next night.
